Obviously this is utter tripe.

I've found a couple of references to this defence but no explanation of what it's meant to achieve. You could kind of understand 2....Nf6 then 3....d5 or 3....d6

The most humane way to continue is probably....

3.Qh5+ g6 4.fxg6+ Kg7 5.gxh7 Rxh7 6.Qg5+ Kh8

black can probably resign already. Suicidal.

1.d4 Nf6 2.g4

2....Nxg4 3.e4 d6 4.Be2 Nf6 5.Nc3 e5

That venerable tome 'The Big Book of Busts' claims this is best for black. The Fritz database has 6 games with this line, 3 wins 3 losses.

6.dxe5 dxe5 7.Qxd8+ Kxd8 8.Nf3 Bd6

9.Bg5

The book doesn't mention 9.Rg1 threatening to regain the pawn. Black has to be very careful here with Bg5 and Nd5 on the cards.

9....Be6 10.0-0-0 Nbd7 11.Bxf6+ gxf6 12.Rhg1 Bc5 13.Rg2 c6 14.Nh4 Kc7

and black should be favourite.

Verdict: Not the worst gambit in the world (see the Fred) - in fact fairly sensible as gambits go. White gets rapid development, and the half-open g-file quickly gives his rook something to bite on. Playable.
